OUR SPACE, OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Intercell exists because of you. Every event we build is a shared space that only works when everyone feels safe, seen and free.

As promoters we choose who gets a platform or who gets put on a pedestal. That creates a power dynamic and with that comes a responsibility that goes beyond music, beyond the dancefloor and beyond the event itself.

A truly free dancefloor starts with safety. Not as a rule, but as a foundation.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

We are committed to creating a space that is welcoming and safer for everyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, gender identity or expression, origin, ethnicity, age, disability, appearance, religion, or any other identity.

By entering an Intercell event you become part of that commitment. We expect the same level of respect and accountability from everyone present: visitors, crew, artists, partners and suppliers. No exceptions.

We have zero tolerance for behaviour that makes someone feel unsafe or unwelcome. That includes harassment in any form, discrimination, intimidation, unwanted physical contact or sexual misconduct. It includes the language you use, the way you move through the space, and the energy you bring into it. If you're encouraging it, you're part of it.

This applies to the DJs we book. To the owners of this company. To every employee, whether in the office or on the floor. No one who is supported, represented, or empowered by Intercell should ever use that position to place themselves above another person. Ever.

And on consent: it's not about the absence of a "no." It's about a clear and conscious "yes." One that's given freely, not assumed. Consent is not a one-time thing but it's continuous, and it can be taken back at any moment. No exceptions.

IF SOMETHING HAPPENED

Your safety and wellbeing come first at Intercell. If something happened that wasn't okay, whether it happened to you or you witnessed it. We want you to know that you can come to us. We take every report seriously, we always act, and we make sure you feel heard.

DURING AN EVENT

Our Awareness Team is recognisable by their vests with AWARENESS printed on them. Approach them if you feel unsafe, experienced something, or simply want to talk. You will also find an awareness phone number in the final info mail, where you can send a message. You don't need to prove anything to ask for help.

AFTER AN EVENT

Send an email to awareness@intercell.events. You will always receive a response. Our awareness team is available not just on the dancefloor, but before and after events too, through a dedicated and confidential contact at our office.

WHAT CAN YOU REPORT?

Harassment, discrimination, misconduct, unsafe situations, or anything that made you uncomfortable at one of our events or connected to our organisation.

WHO HANDLES YOUR REPORT?

All reports are handled by our designated confidential advisor. They are trained and have the expertise to handle your report with care, knowledge, and without judgment.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US

We always act. Doing nothing is never an option for us. We handle your report with care, seriousness, and confidentiality. We don't judge, and we give you the lead. Where needed, we make sure you're referred to professional support. And we learn from every report to make our events safer.

If someone's behaviour violates what we stand for, we will take action whether that means a conversation, a warning, removal from the event, a permanent ban, or involvement of authorities where necessary.

We are all part of this scene. From headlining artist to first-time visitor. We need each other, and we owe it to one another to be treated as equals. Always.

This protocol is reviewed and improved regularly. If you have feedback on how we can do better, we genuinely want to hear it.
