Intercell.048 - Luca Eck
We have relaunched. Coming through with an immaculate podcast to usher in March. We're back with one of the most promising talents rising from a new generation of Berlin-bred artists: Luca Eck (@iamlucaeck). Being classically trained since his early childhood, he started writing and producing electronic pop music at the age of 11, later transitioning into techno in 2017. He now aims to create a blend between the emotional appeal of popular music and the dark sounds of industrial techno, that already brought him behind the decks of Berlin's renowned Griessmuehle (now @revier_suedost), various international venues, live on ARTE Concert's (@arte-radio-1) United We Stream (@unitedwestream) programme, Rinse France (@rinse_france) and infamous Digital Club HÖR (@hoerberlin). His music quickly gained recognition from established artists such as Amelie Lens (@amelielens) - who featured him in her highly acclaimed "Track ID" Playlist on Spotify. After a series of single releases, including his track "Walking The Edge" (currently sitting at over 400.000 Streams on Spotify), Luca Eck is entering 2022 on a wave of momentum that doesn't look set to fall away anytime soon. Luca will soon release his Debut EP in collaboration with Berghain (@berghain) regular Nur Jaber (@nurjaberbeirut). Apart from that, he has also produced EPs for rap and pop artists like Tightill and benzii (Sony Music, Kontor New Media, Motor Entertainment).

Intercell.047 - DJ Tool
December's podcast is a truly festive gift. This vinyl mix is an eclectic trip with subtle, yet hard-hitting techno and trance classics. Enjoy your Christmas days with the Copenhagen born & Berlin based: DJ Tool (@dj-tool). With his roots deep in the Copenhagen DIY music scene Joachim Palsby, aka DJ TOOL, has been playing and collecting different music for over a decade. After many years of playing punk, metal and electronic noise music, he slowly developed an interest in techno and trance. For years he has been roaming the international dance floors as a loyal dancer and ended up behind the booth with the skills of all vinyl DJ-ing. DJ TOOL is a classic example of a DJ that merges directly from the floor to the booth. He is the co-organizer and resident DJ of the queer party series Mala Junta. Mala Junta is a smaller intimate party focusing on old school, faster and harder techno and trance that is merging in the city of Berlin. The queer party quickly became among Berlins most recognized parties for its particular music profile and unique, intimate vibes. His sets are an authentic and well-executed blend of sexy techno and gloomy trance. The sound is old-school, hard and fast, but always funky and uplifting. His closings are highly recommended with a passion and expertise in longer sets.

Intercell.046 - Cassie Raptor
Back with a lavish lockdown mix by one of the Possession agency's (Core Agency) most precious assets from France: Cassie Raptor (@cassie_raptor). Cassie raptor plunges the dancefloor in a dark and burning atmosphere, a DJ/producer with industrial and dark techno influences. Powerful kicks, organic textures, screaming voices - her sets release cathartic energy, a visceral and determined sound that escapes the evidence. An ecstatic chase between distressing and luminous atmospheres where broken rhythms, industrial noise and acid elements converge in a liberating clubbing experience.

Intercell.045 - u.r.trax
It's kind of a no-brainer. U.R. Trax is one of those rare artists who go straight for the jugular on the first approach. A burst of energy, youth in its most innocent and furious form. A gifted 17-year-old, she sweeps away all stereotypes with her presence and talent. After attending the music conservatory at the age of eleven, she finished her master's degree in 2019. This gifted artist has started to make her mark on the techno scene by first joining the team, organizing the Possession events and then quickly slaying the dancefloor at their parties. Spotted by the greatest DJs of the moment, she has just signed her debut EP on Hector Oaks' KAOS label and is preparing several collaborations that promise to be incredible. Our subsequent releases on Lobster Theremin, Live From Earth or her own imprint on Kaos Label looks like the 2021's blast to come.

Intercell.044 - Sept
Let's dive into this late September podcast, and yes, of course it had to be him this month. Give it up for the Polish & Warsaw-based: Sept (@septonly). Techno is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Sept. He has been always far away from the mainstream beats. His DJ sets and live acts are a musical trip, and his sound has continuously evolved, always staying true to his Techno roots. In addition, Sept shows a broad delicate mixture of darkness and light, creating a sonic musical journey that took him to play in the most respected clubs around Europe and South America... In 2015, the ball started rolling when he was involved in the organization of the "Lost Pool" parties located in an abandoned pool area. Later on, in 2016, he started co-organizing an event series called "Bóg Jest w Techno" (eng. The God Is In Techno @bogjestwtechno) which hosted names like Ansome (@myansome), Perc (@perc), Regal (@regalmusic), Boston 168 (boston-168), stranger (@whoisstranger), P.E.A.R.L. (@p-e-a-r-l), Kangding Ray (@kangding-ray), Ossian (@ossianuk), Remco Beekwilder (@remco-beekwilder) & SNTS (@sntsrecords). Production-wise Sept has been releasing on respected Techno labels since 2015, being "Path EP" his first release on Voxnox Records (@voxnoxberlin). He also released two EPs in 2016, Runaway 27 on Flash Recordings (@flash-recordings) and Artefakkt (@artefakktmusik) on Sonntag Morgen Records (@sonntag-morgen-rec). Furthermore, Sept has been showing his broad spectrum of sounds in clubs like Griessmuehle (Berlin, now @revier_suedost), Rote Sonne (Germany, @rotesonne) and Myst Warehouse (France). His sounds have been published on greatly respected podcasts like Reclaim Your City (@reclaim-your-city), Slam Radio (@paragraph), The Brvtalist (@thebrvtalistxx), Synoid (@synoidberlin), HATE (@hate_music), The Forgotten (@theforgottenrec), Monument (@monument-podcast) & Oecus (@oecusmusic).

Intercell.043 - Sugar
It's time for an August podcast by the Copenhagen based Sugar (@sugar_fastforward). Deep, minimal but mostly hard-hitting. Sugar is besides being a founding member of the Fast Forward Productions & Agency (@fastforwardproductions) a techno artist, whose artistic focus leans toward rolling deep and pounding grooves, atmospheric and eerie ambiences, emotional (dis)harmony and melodies, and a constant development in sound design, also searching the field of breakbeats and experimental electronic music. Sugar is releasing his music with prominent contemporary record-labels like Euromantic (@politeandcourteous), Kulør (@kulorco), KAOS (@hectoroaks), Blue Hour music (@bluehour909), Mama told ya (@mamatoldya), his own recently launched label Perfumery (@perfumery_recordings), and has an upcoming EP on Bassiani Records (@bassiani).

Intercell.042 - CEM
After some enervating weeks, it's now time for something delightful. We welcome the amazing Herrensauna founder for late July's podcast: CEM (@cemdukkha) with a groovy, penetrating, yet smooth mix. CEM's unique brand of emotive hysteria was forged in Herrensauna's (@herrensauna) hedonistic Berlin furnace in the last few years and as one of the party's two core members, he has been at the heart of the operations since its inception. With the party attracting more and more attention for its critical contribution to Berlin's queer community, as well as their raw italo-metal aesthetic, the opportunity came to move into Tresor (@tresorberlin), where it has cemented its place as a unique addition to Berlin's nocturnal topography. CEM's role in all this is twofold—firstly, as curator of the party's unique mix of frenetic DJs and industrial-edged live performances; and secondly, as one of the resident DJs. The sheer pace of Herrensauna's preferred grade of techno is offset by his enigmatic presence and selection. It's a crucial edge of the party, and it's rightfully brought CEM to the world's attention.
